A 6.0 liter V12 gasoline engine will be used in this model, this gasoline engine will be able to produce an output of 550 horsepower and a torque of 554 pound-feet. This engine will be further joinedby an eight-speed automatic transmission system. An all-wheel drive configuration will be used for distributing power to all the four wheels, there is no confirmation whether a two wheel drive configuration will be available or not. It is also not confirmed whether there is going to be another engine option.

Audi Q7 and Cadillac Escalade will be its strongest competitors in the market. The price of this model will start from $60,000 and will reach up to $130,000 for top trims. This 2018 BMW X7 is suspected to be launched in the last quarters of 2017 or maybe in the early start of 2018.
